Fiable Care is an NDIS provider with resources to assist in delivering health and disability services in a range of environments. Let us guide you through the NDIS planning process and assist you with matters like budgeting and reporting.

What is the NDIS?

The Australian Government initiated the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for people with disability, including people with intellectual, physical, sensory and psycho-social disabilities. The NDIS provides funding to those eligible to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, and access to new skills, jobs, or volunteer work within their community.

The NDIS also connects people with disabilities to services in their community.

This includes connections to doctors, community groups, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools, as well as providing information about what support is provided by each state and territory government. This ensures that those struggling to live normal lives receive support early to achieve the best outcomes day in and day out.

How does the NDIS work?

To make use of NDIS funding, participants need to register with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). If you are eligible for NDIS support and have received an ‘access decision’ letter, you can create an NDIS plan that suits your needs and take it to a suitable NDIS provider to see that your needs are met.

Answer some simple questions to see if you are eligible for the NDIS. These questions are just a guide, as the final decision is up to the NDIA.
